We ended the semester with this topic and I want to revisit it so that you will be drawing something from live observation.
Here are the requirements:
- fill a double page spread
- use only ball point pen
- hands must be at least life size (if not bigger)
- you must represent at least six hands
- only one may be yours
- only one may come from each person - meaning you need to move around the room a bit
- you have 15 minutes and then you need to get started on your project
- these should be contour drawings - meaning do not lift your pen during each drawing
- hands must overlap at times
- must spend at least 2 min on each hand but decide as a pair when you are finished
- may not "trace" hands on paper
