I started using a new service this summer for syncing different devices, really, but it also allows so really interesting file sharing options. It's called SugarSync, and here is the link to check it out.
It would work really well for when you are working on a document/project at school and then need it at home, or the other way around, as you don't need to send yourself emails back and forth or use a usb anymore.
You can easily get 5GB of free storage for free and of course pay for more.
