Screenprinting and Due Date

Art 3's: Funky Head S.P. Due this Friday!

Henry, Mabelle, Jeff - screen printing stuff next thurs. 2/3 after school.
Check out the "photo" method HERE!
There is, as I mentioned, a different method - just "painting" the image on with a brush.
What you use will mostly be determined by the idea/drawing you come up with.

Town Council Reception

Remember, this Thursday, 1/13 from 6-8pm in the Town Council Chambers (kinda, mostly below the lg public library) will be the reception for the current show of advanced painting canvases.

JumpstArt Presentation

LG Alum Nathan Langner will be in room 502 during tutorial on Friday 1/14 for a presentation on OSU's summer "art camp", JumpstArt.

It's a great program we've had many students attend in the past that would definitely be worth looking in to if you are interested in doing some new and exciting art over the summer.

Town Council Show

It's that time of year again.
For our 2011 installment of our art for the Council Chambers the finishing touches are going on the paintings as we speak.
I will drop off the pieces this Friday, and the reception will be help next week.

Mark your calendars for Thursday, 1/13 from 6-8pm.
Reception will be "below" the library, as usual - or you can just follow the crowd.
Yes, students, there will be extra credit. So make sure to get yours!
