Daily Sketchbook 2/27

Please draw one of the below images.

Or, for double extra enthusiastic adoration, find a way to incorporate both objects into the same drawing. Use only pencil today.

Daily Sketchbook 2/6

At this point we are pretty far in the semester already. This means I have the acrylic paint out for us to use...and if I don't, have me get it out please.

One person from each table group needs to go get 3-4 tubes of paint and arrange them in the middle of your table. Draw these from observation in pencil.

If you are not at a table of 4, please move to create a table of 4-5. Even if you are standing and resting your sketchbook on a peer's table, no big deal. It's just 15 minutes.

Daily Sketchbook 2/16

Please make sure everything is off of your tables (except the ipad you are reading this on) and give me your attention. We will begin when everyone is quiet and ready.
Today is an interactive "sketchbook" exercise and you will be informed as to what you need to turn in when we are finished.
Smile. This will be fun.

Dailly Sketchbook 2/10

Add something to your drawing from Wed. - the colored pencil/hand/tool drawing.
Do you create some shading with a complementary color?
Do you redraw on the same page for more practice?
Do you add something to the drawing so that it looks like the tool is doing something?
Do you do something entirely different?
Have fun. Go!

Daily Sketchbook 2/8

Go grab one colored pencil from the tool cabinet.
Also grab one tool or art making device.
Hold the tool or art making device in your hand in an interesting manner.
Draw your hand and tool/art making device with the chosen colored pencil.
Make it as complete as you can in the given time.

Daily Sketchbook 2/2

How is it Feb. already?!
At any rate, go back to the Weegee image from the other day and continue working on your portrait of him please.
